I had a sonogram done yesterday along with the standard routine tests. My doctor told me that she was 80% sure that we were having a girl & my due date is May 26th! We could see that she was positioned where she was folded with her legs being above her, like a single peice a bread folded in half! We go back this Monday to Duke Perinatal for a 3-D sonogram to find out specifics and to know 100% of the sex. For the last several weeks, Michael kept telling us that there was more than one baby, so just for kicks, I asked my doctor to check for two; there's only one!
Monday, we enrolled Michael in Kindergarden...he was/is so excited. He's been practicing writing and drawing! There has been talk that year round school may be considered in Wake county, but not sure which schools this will apply to. I'm sure we'll find out more this summer if this will even take effect in the 2007/2008 school year. Katelyn, on the other hand, was a little upset because she's not going to school yet. She has been practicing being "mommy" with her baby dolls! When she puts them in their baby bed, she'll let us know that they are sleeping and tells us to whisper!
Austin is doing great in school. He had some testing done 2 weekends ago for the Talented & Gifted program and we should have his results in a couple of more weeks or less. He started basketball 5 weeks ago and so far they haven't won a game but the scores have been very close.
Austin will be spending his entire summer break up here with us - that's all he's been talking about these days!
We'll have more updates soon....
I have pictures to send, but for some reason my picture program sticks sometimes and can't get it to work right now...I'll send some out soon.
